Roger-Yves Bost, montando a Castle Forbes Cosma, se impuso en la primera prueba 5* de la jornada inaugural, batiendo a su compatriota Philippe Rozier.

French rider Roger-Yves Bost riding Castle Forbes Cosma a chesnut mare which has only just recently joined the French rider´s stables and was previously ridden by Jessica Kürten from Ireland, demonstrated yet again his great competitiveness and speed. He managed to defeat Philippe Rozier on Ideal de Roy by 38 hundreths of a second.
Brazilian Pedro Veniss on Norlan des Etisses finished third after having lead the competition previous to Bost an Rozier´s performances. Current European Team Champion Marco Kutscher on China Blue 4 was fourth whilst another French rider, Michel Robert closed the lap of honour on Catapulte.
