Of the 34 participants taking part in the NH Hoteles Trophy competition only ten managed to classify for a very fast and disputed jump-off, with the final victory going to Germany by the hand of Marco Kutscher.

Kutscher, European Teams Champion in 2011, Gold Medal in 2005 and Olympic Bronze medal in 2004, completed a flawless round in 42.51 seconds on Satisfaction FRH, a 12 year old Bay Stallion.

Following close behind the second prize went to Harrie Smolders from the Netherlands on Regina Z in 42.80, the third place went to Roger-Yves Bost from France riding Castle Forbes Myrtille Paulois in just 43.01, David Mc Pherson from G.Britain finished fourth on Billy Bishop and the fifth place went to Jamal Rahimov from Azerbaijan who riding Warrior completed his round in 50.01 seconds.
