He was announced as one of the favorites at CSI 5*/2* A Coruña from the beggining, the American Richard Spooner got first place at the NH Hoteles Trophy with his horse Cristallo the one he got the Telefonica Grand Prix 2011 with in Casas Novas.

The best riders of the World have been at the Competition Arena during the Warsteiner Trophy, the first Class 5* International Jumping Show of A Coruña. Winner has been the German rider, Ukraine nationalized, Katherina Offel, in a very busy class where more than 60 riders and horses took part and with grades full of people, she made an unreachable speed.

On January 2nd 2013 Eurosport will shown the best riders of the World at the most important Class at XXV Casas Novas Indoor International Jumping Show, Telefonica Grand Prix. Class will be broadcasted on Equidia and Class Horse TV too.

Casas Novas feels like Competition with the arrival of all riders and horses to the equestrian center located in Arteixo, A Coruña. The most expected riders as the world ranking number 2 Steve Guedart, the Olympic Edwina Tops-Alexander or Telefonica Grand Prix’s last edition winner, Californian Richard Spooner, are already in town and their horses have passed the Veterinary Inspection and are taking a rest for the opening day on Friday.

Along Wednesday the Equestrian Center has welcomed the most expected horses: Olympic Steve Guerdat’s (Switzerland): Carpalo and Sydney VIII, as well as American Richard Spooner’s, Telefonica Grand Prix winner at the latest Casas Novas winter edition. Spooner comes with his horse Cristallo, the one he got the big prix with during the last edition, and the one he would try to get it again this time.
